Founders & Facilitators
Zoe is a Mexican-Venezuelan experience designer, filmmaker and producer who specializes in interactive installations and documentary production. Their work spans live entertainment, performance, immersive experiences, AR/XR/MR and the development of emerging technologies.
Previously, Zoe worked as a project manager & creative producer at the UCLA Center for Research in Engineering, Media and Performance (REMAP). At REMAP,Zoe produced and designed several interactive storytelling experiences, including the Google-funded Future of Storytelling effort and local initiatives with California State Parks. Zoe received their MFA from UC Santa Cruz in the Digital Arts + New Media program, and a BA in Film, Television & Digital Media from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
Matthew has worked as an Educational Outreach Counselor for the federally funded Upward Bound (TRiO) program, and as a Faculty Developer for Keene State College’s Center for Engagement, Learning, and Teaching (CELT). He received his MFA from Arizona State University in Interdisciplinary Digital Media and Performance in 2015. His MFA work focused on the intersection of traditional turn-key tools for live production, and new approaches for breaking boundaries between performers and media systems.
Matthew specializes in creating interactive systems for digital environments and has a robust archive of teaching resources for the creative-coding community. His personal work continues to explore the intersection of digital media, live performance, and interactive installations on scales both massive and intimate.
